IGNITE 2027: Hearts Ablaze
You Are Called. You Are Loved. You Can Make a Difference.
Igniting faith. Inspiring service. Transforming communities.
At IGNITE 2027, more than 1,500 young people will come together to grow in faith, deepen their relationship with God, and discover what it means to live out their calling.
Through the IGNITE “Hearts Ablaze” Youth Mission Project, our young people are putting faith into action by serving our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and intentional love. Grounded in our theme, “You Are Called,” we believe that each of us is called by God to build meaningful relationships, strengthen our communities, and be a light of hope to others.
And we invite you to be part of this mission!
Hearts Ablaze: Faith in Action
1,200 Care Kits. $9,000. One Powerful Mission.
This year, IGNITE youth have set an ambitious goal: assemble and distribute 1,200 care kits to support individuals and communities experiencing need or food instability.
Each care kit costs just $7.50, bringing our total fundraising goal to $9,000. Every contribution helps provide essential supplies and reminds our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and loved.
With a primary focus on campus ministries throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware, and the Panhandle of West Virginia, this project will provide tangible support to those who need it most.
Every care kit represents more than supplies. It is a reminder that someone cares, that no one is forgotten, and that God's love is at work through the hands and hearts of young people.
Together, we can turn faith into action and compassion into meaningful change.

Called to Serve. Inspired to Love.
When young people answer God's call, extraordinary things happen.
Through Hearts Ablaze, IGNITE youth are discovering that faith is more than what we believe. It is how we show up for others, how we respond to the needs around us, and how we work together to create a more compassionate and just world.
Your partnership helps create sacred space for young people to fan the flames of compassion, justice, and service. You are helping them spark change, build community, and discover what it truly means to belong to God and others.
Whether you give financially, purchase supplies, or share this mission with your congregation or community, you are part of something bigger.
